Do you have to make an appointment to bring in pre-owned high end designer handbags, clothing, shoes, etc?
Yes. Appointments can be made for before, during or after store hours. Appointments need to be made for pick ups and in store service. You can use our Drop Off Service anytime during store hours.

The Ritz Resale is an upscale consignment boutique. We must select brands that our customers are looking for. The Ritz Resale puts a lot of effort into selling your clothes so we try to focus on the items that provide the highest return.

Do you accept Jeans?
Yes! However, we ONLY accept new and pre-owned high- end designer jeans. These jeans typically retail for at least $165.00.
Do you accept wedding dresses?
No. We do not accept wedding or bridesmaid dresses.
Do you accept vintage clothing?
The Ritz Resale does not accept clothing from the 1990’s, 1980’s, 1970’s, or Vintage Clothing 1960’s and earlier.
Do you accept designer luxury undergarments?
We only accept high end, luxury undergarments new and in its original packaging.
What are the advantages to consigning my pre-owned and new luxury designer items with you?
We will choose your items carefully, produce an inventory list and tags, display and secure your clothes and update your paperwork and account balance daily. You can view your account online for the status of you items 24/7.
The Ritz Resale is celebrating its 30th year. We have a customer base of ladies that have shopped us with for decades, as well as daily new customers from referrals and web advertising. Your clothes will enjoy high visibility for 60 days or more. We do not make money until you do. We do our best to provide the highest return in the fastest amount of time. Our clients enjoy the highest industry percentage split of 50%.
Do you have layaway for new and pre-owned designer handbags, luxury clothing and shoes?
Yes. We have a 14 day layaway policy with 25% down.
Do you buy pre-owned and designer handbags, shoes and clothing outright?
Yes. We do buy outright. We pay garage sale prices when buying outright. You will usually make more money consigning your items, but if you would rather not consign, we will make an offer to buy your items.
Are all the new and pre-owned designer items you sell authentic?
Yes. The Ritz Resale guarantees all the items we sell in our Online Showroom or eBay auction are guaranteed to be 100% authentic. All products have been thoroughly evaluated. Some conditions apply to reimbursements.
Should I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. All domestic orders should receive a confirmation that your order has been sent along with a tracking number.
How long does it take to process my order?
Processing takes 2-3 business days from when you place your order. Items are sent USPS priority mail.
How can I place an order?
You may place an order by calling us at 626-449-3528 and speaking to a customer service representative who will take your order over the phone. Customer Service is available during normal business hours, Tuesday thru Saturday 11- 6 pm PST.
Can I adjust the quantities of what I want to order higher?
The Ritz Resale is a consignment boutique so we usually have only one unique item available. Occasionally we receive items from other boutiques with quantities greater than just one per item.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, such as American Express, Visa and MasterCard. We also accept PayPal for eBay and online showroom orders online and by phone. Checks and cash are accepted in the store only.
How do I know if something will fit me since sizes vary?
Sizing varies by designer. If you are familiar with a designer, please order the size you normally do. If not you may use the size chart link below to view the guidelines to better choose what items will fit you. The size guides are measured in inches. Each item is listed with both the size and the measurements of the item. Check the measurements too see if an item will fit you even if the size may differ from what you normally wear.
What is your Return Policy on new and pre-owned designer luxury items?
Items purchased through eBay or from our Online Showroom by phone can be returned, but must be post marked no later than 3 days from delivery and be in the same condition as they were shipped to you in. You are responsible for shipping and insurance on the item(s) you are mailing back to us. Certain rules and restrictions apply.
Do I have to pay taxes on my online purchase?
Items shipped within California require 9.75% sales tax.
How do you calculate shipping/handling charges?
Your shipping and handling charges are calculated by location, weight of an item and the dimensions of the box. The USPS calculator takes your specific order information along with your zip code and calculates what USPS will charge us for your shipment.
How do you ship my Domestic order?
All domestic U.S. orders (excluding Hawaii and Alaska) are shipped by USPS Priority Mail 3-4 Day Service.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do ship internationally. International purchases are excluded from using our return policy. We only guarantee authenticity. All our products have been thoroughly evaluated and proof must be obtained before a refund is issued. Item must be in the same condition as they were when received. You are responsible for shipping and insurance on the item you are mailing back to us. Customs documents are issued for the purchase price only.
Is my order insured when shipped? What is covered?
Yes. Your shipping charges include full insurance on the purchase price of your item. Your items are covered against loss, theft and damage during shipment. Some conditions and restrictions apply to insurance reimbursements.
